OBJECTIVE: Making a Valentine Girl from Scratch.
Tools Needed:
Paint Shop Pro 7
Step 1
Open a new image, 500 X 500, 16 million colors, with transparent background.
Add a new layer. Layers/New Raster Layer,name it head. Go to your Preset tool
..go to the tool option, and check Vector, and Antialias.
Set your foreground and background to #E3C9BB.

Click on the Object Selector 
Place it on the head and click.
Select Node Edit in the drop down box.

Drag the center node down a little to shape the head.

Go to Layers/Convert to Raster Layer

Selections/Select All, then Selections/Float.
Go to Effects/3D Effects/Cutout. Set it at:
Vertical: 3, Horizontal: 0, Opacity: 100, Blur: 33.8, Shadow: #B57653..

Apply two times.
Now would be a good time to save.
*SAVE*
Go ahead and save in .psp. Saving in psp format will save all of the layers.
Step 2
Add a new layer, name it cheek1.
Now, go to your PreShapes, click on the tool options, find a heart in the drop down menu.

Draw your heart and then move it on the face where you want it. Then go to Edit/Copy, Edit/Paste as New Layer. Move the second cheek onto the face where you want it to be.
Add an new layer. Name it eyes. Click on your preset tool...
.. Now go to your tool options. Click on the triangle, and set it to elipse.
Set your stroke (foreground) and fill (background) to black.
Draw an oblong eye.
Go to Edit/Copy, Edit/Paste as New Layer. Move your eye into place.
*SAVE*
Go ahead and save in .psp. Saving in psp format will save all of the layers.
