Step 5

Go to Selections/Invert.
Now go to Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow
Use these settings:
Vertical and Horizontal: 8, Opacity: 45, Blur: 38.3, Color: Black

Go to Selections/Select None

Step 6

Add a new layer. Layers/New Raster Layer. Name the layer face
Click on Preset shapes. Select elipse in the tool options box. Uncheck create as vector. Make sure your foreground color (stroke) set to Null, and the background (fill), to #9D623F.
Draw an eye. Go to Selections/Select All, then, click on the Selection tool , and click on the eye. This will start the marching ants to run around the eye.
Edit/Copy Edit/Paste as New Layer. Move your second eye into place.

Add a new layer. Layers/New Raster Layer. Name the layer nose
Change your background color to #404040. Make your foreground color, null.
Click on Preset shapes. Draw a large nose.
*SAVE*

Step 7

Add a new layer. Layers/New Raster Layer. Name the layer cheek1
Change your background color to #E15F5F. Make your foreground color, null.
Click on Preset shapes. Draw a cheek. Position the cheek where you want it to be on the face.
Now go to Effects/Blur/Gaussian Blur, Set the Radius to 6.00. Go to Edit/Copy, then, Edit/Paste as New Layer. Move your cheek on the face. Now go to your layers palette, and click on the nose layer. Go to Layers/Arrange/Bring to Top. Now, move your cheeks just slightly under the nose.

Add a new layer. Layers/New Raster Layer. Name the layer outline.
Change your foreground color to #404040.
Make your background color, null.
Go to your layer palette and click on your body layer. Then go to Selections/Select All, then, Selections/Float.
Now, click on your draw tool. then, click on the tool options window
Set your type to Single Line, and Width to 3. Make sure that Antialias is the only box checked.

Start drawing short lines all around your cat.
When you are done with your lines. Go to Selections/Select None.
