OBJECTIVE: To make buttons using vectors.
Tools Needed:
Paint Shop Pro 7

Step 1
Open a new image, 200 X 200, 16 million colors, with transparent background.
I know this is a pretty large area, but, it really gives you a lot of room to work with.
Add a new layer. Layers/New Raster Layer, name it body. Go to your Selection tool ..Then click on the tool options .. Set it to cicle.

Draw a circle.

Set your foreground to a color and flood fill your circle. I used #D7AEAD, but you can use any color that you want to.

Click on your Airbrush Tool..
Go to the tool options and set it to: Round, Size: 31, Hardness: 10, Opacity: 24, Step: 25, Density: 50.

Set a darker shade than your button color. I used #AE5A5A. Spray your button

Now, if your button isn't still selected, then, go to Selection/Select All, Then, Selection/Float.

Go to Effects/3D Effects/Cutout. Set your shadow color the same as your airbrushed color.
Vertical and Horizontal set to: 5 Opacity: 65, Blur: 31, Do this two times.
Then a third time, change the Vertical to -5.

Now would be a good time to save.
