OBJECTIVE: To make a Bunny and Wagon with selections.
Tools Needed:
Paint Shop Pro 7
Bunny Selections
Step 1
Open a new image, 400 X 400, 16 million colors, with transparent background.
Add a new layer. Layers/New Raster Layer,name it body. Go to Selections/Load From Disk, click on body.sel.

First set your foreground to black, and flood fill your circle.
Then, go to Selections/Modify/Contract, set it for 2 pixels.
Change your foreground to #FDF4CD and flood fill your circle.
Go to Selections/float.
Then Effects/3D Effects/Cutout.
Set your settings to: Vertical- 4, Horizontal- 1, Opacity- 100, Blur- 24, and the shadow color to: EDA285.

Selections/Select None
*SAVE*
Go ahead and save in .psp. Saving in psp format will save all of the layers.
Step 2
Add a new layer. Layers/New Raster Layer. Name it Head.
Go to Selections/Load From Disk, Select head.sel
First set your foreground to black, and flood fill your head.
Then, go to Selections/Modify/Contract, set it for 2 pixels.
Change your foreground to #FDF4CD and flood fill your head.
Go to Selections/float.
Then Effects/3D Effects/Cutout.
Set your settings to: Vertical- 4, Horizontal- 1, Opacity- 100, Blur- 24, and the shadow color to: EDA285.

Selections/Select None
*SAVE*
Go ahead and save in .psp. Saving in psp format will save all of the layers.
Step 3
Add a new layer. Layers/New Raster Layer. Name it Ears.
Go to Selections/Load From Disk, Select ear1.sel
First set your foreground to black, and flood fill your ear.
Then, go to Selections/Modify/Contract, set it for 2 pixels.
Change your foreground to #FDF4CD and flood fill your ear.
Go to Selections/float.
Then Effects/3D Effects/Cutout.
Set your settings to: Vertical- 4, Horizontal- 1, Opacity- 100, Blur- 24, and the shadow color to: EDA285.

Selections/Select None
*SAVE*
Go ahead and save in .psp. Saving in psp format will save all of the layers.

Step 4
Add a new layer. Layers/New Raster Layer. Name it Inner Ear.
Go to Selections/Load From Disk, Select innerear.sel
First set your foreground to black, and flood fill your inner ear.
Then, go to Selections/Modify/Contract, set it for 2 pixels.
Change your foreground to #F58D85 and flood fill your inner ear.
Go to Selections/float.
Then Effects/3D Effects/Cutout.
Set your settings to: Vertical- 4, Horizontal- 1, Opacity- 100, Blur- 24, and the shadow color to: #B2461C.

Selections/Select None
*SAVE*
Go ahead and save in .psp. Saving in psp format will save all of the layers.
Step 5
Add a new layer. Layers/New Raster Layer. Name it Ear 2.
Go to Selections/Load From Disk, Select ear2.sel
First set your foreground to black, and flood fill your ear 2.
Then, go to Selections/Modify/Contract, set it for 2 pixels.
Change your foreground back to #FDF4CD and flood fill your inner ear 2.
Go to Selections/float.
Then Effects/3D Effects/Cutout.
Set your settings to: Vertical- 4, Horizontal- 1, Opacity- 100, Blur- 24, change the shadow color back to: #EDA285.
Selections/Select None
Now go to your layer pallette and move the ear 2, below the head layer
*SAVE*
Go ahead and save in .psp. Saving in psp format will save all of the layers.
