Acts 16:31- "So they said, "Believe in the Lord Jesus
Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household."

OBJECTIVE: To make a Valentine Bunny with selections.
Tools Needed:
Paint Shop Pro 7
Bunny Selections

Step 1
Open a new image, 400 X 400, 16 million colors, with transparent background.
Add a new layer. Layers/New Raster Layer,name it head. Go to Selections/Load From Disk, click on 1head.sel.
First set your foreground to black, and flood fill your head.
Then, go to Selections/Modify/Contract, set it for 2 pixels.
Change your foreground to #B9A489 and flood fill your head again.

Go to Selections/float.
Click on your Airbrush tool
Then, go to the tool options and set it to: Shape: round, Size: 36, Hardness: 50, Opacity: 50, Step: 25, Density: 51

Change your foreground color to: #937859 and spot airbrush the head.

Then go to Effects/3D Effects/Cutout.
Set your settings to: Vertical- 1, Horizontal- 1, Opacity- 100, Blur- 24, and the shadow color to: 6D5A45.
Go to Selections/Select None

*SAVE*
Go ahead and save in .psp. Saving in psp format will save all of the layers.

Step 2
Add a new layer. Layers/New Raster Layer. Name it Cheeks.
Go to Selections/Load From Disk, Select 2cheeks.sel
Set your foreground to black, and flood fill your cheek area.
Then, go to Selections/Modify/Contract, set it for 2 pixels.
Change your foreground to #D4C6B6 and flood fill your main cheek area.

Go to Selections/float. Click on your Airbrush tool
Change your foreground color to: #C3B19D and spot airbrush the head.

Then go to Effects/3D Effects/Cutout.
Keep the same settings as before.

Selections/Select None

*SAVE*
Go ahead and save in .psp. Saving in psp format will save all of the layers.

Step 3
Add a new layer. Layers/New Raster Layer. Name it Cheeks 2.
Go to Selections/Load From Disk, Select 3cheek.sel
Set your foreground to #A36C6B, and flood fill your smaller cheek.
Selections/Select None
Then, go to Effects/Blur/Gaussian Blur, set the radius to 5.00.
Go to Edit/Copy, Edit/Paste as New Layer, and move your other cheek to where you want it to be.

Add a New Layer, name it nose.
Go to Selections/Load From Disk, Select 4nose.sel
Set your foreground to black, and flood fill your nose.
Select None.

Click on your draw tool

Go to the tool options and set it to:
Single Line, Width: 2
Go to your Layer palette

Click on your head layer

Draw two short lines for the eyes.

*SAVE*
Go ahead and save in .psp. Saving in psp format will save all of the layers.

Step 4
Add a new layer. Layers/New Raster Layer. Name it Hat.
Then, go to Layers/Arrange/Bring to Top
Go to Selections/Load From Disk, Select 5hat.sel
Set your foreground to black, and flood fill your hat.
Then, go to Selections/Modify/Contract, set it for 2 pixels.
Change your foreground to #A07043 and flood fill your hat again.

Go to Selections/float.
Change your foreground to #BC8F64
Click on your Airbrush tool, and airbrush the hat.
Then Effects/3D Effects/Cutout.
Set your settings to: Vertical- 1, Horizontal- 1, Opacity- 100, Blur- 24, and the shadow color to: #675541.
Selections/Select None

Add a new layer. Layers/New Raster Layer. Name it lines.
Change your foreground color to: #675541
Click on your line tool, go to your tool options and set it to Freehand, width: 2 .
Draw lines on your hat. Then go to Effects/Blur/Gaussian Blur, set it to 5.00 radius.

Go to your layer palette, click off everything but, lines and hat. Click on the hat layer. Right click Merge/Merge Visible. Right click on the layer again, Rename the layer hat.
Un X all layers. Now, go back to the layer palette again. Click on the hat layer again, move it down below the cheeks layer. *SAVE*
Go ahead and save in .psp. Saving in psp format will save all of the layers.

Step 5
Go to your layer palette, click on the head layer.
Add a new layer. Layers/New Raster Layer. Name it Ear 1.
Go to Selections/Load From Disk, Select 6ear.sel
First set your foreground to black, and flood fill your ear.
Then, go to Selections/Modify/Contract, set it for 2 pixels.
Change your foreground back to #B9A489 and flood fill your ear.

Go to Selections/float.
Change your foreground to #937859
Click on your Airbrush tool, and airbrush the ear. Then Effects/3D Effects/Cutout.
Set your settings to: Vertical- 1, Horizontal- 1, Opacity- 100, Blur- 24, your shadow color should still be set at: #675541.
Selections/Select None
Add a new layer. Layers/New Raster Layer. Name it Inner ear.
Go to Selections/Load From Disk, Select 7innerear.sel
Change your foreground color to #A36C6B and flood fill your ear.
Selections/Select None
Effects/Blur/Gaussian Blur, set it to 7.00 radius.


*SAVE*
Go ahead and save in .psp. Saving in psp format will save all of the layers.
